I laughed audibly at this. I think it's time to create a compilation of 'Brownisms' - like 'Bushisms'.
We can add it to "End to Boom and Bust", et al.
The man just beggars belief.

Dont mock from the truth TB, maybe not the humblest way to put it but nevertheless....
The sad truth is that we all know Blair would have got away with it. He'd have joined in the laughter and then offered up a self deprecating quip like "well, one step at a time." Brown just can't do spontaneity or humour. He is incapable of going off script.
Come on TB, this definately deserves a remix!
