in 2005 while campaigning against David Cameron, John Bercow said: "Eton, hunting, shooting and lunch at Whites" made David Cameron the wrong man for the job.
The outgoing Speaker should be careful not to make his fear of losing turn him into any more of a hypocrite.

Are you sure about that TB?
I think that, technically, the Speaker has to be re-elected by the House at the start of every term.
This has been a shoo-in previously, because we had quality like Betty Boothroyd during the last government change-over.
But will Cameron leave Bercow there if he wins?
Farage winning would constitute one of the finest comic moments of modern times.
I just want to see Bercow's career end with all bridges burned.
So please Buckinghamshire electorate, make us all happy.
