Tott or Not.

Quentin Letts
has been discussing the poll to find the sexiest female policitcian in the world. Is it any wonder we didn't too well?
TB has an idea for a rather fun game in the run up to the next election. Whenever that will be.

Funny how it's only women being judged on their attractiveness here. How can we ever remove sexism from politics when misogynist articles like this vilify women for their weight or dress sense rather than focusing on their political beliefs and achievements?
This post is ridiculous and if the Conservatives want to be taken seriously maybe their bloggers shouldn't waste web space on stuff like this.

Ah Gabi my militant dear,

I know you are a real TB fan and honestly there is nothing sexist about this. I am merely saying that British politicians, both male and female aren't lookers, and that is not to suggest I feel them to have inferior politics. Quite the opposite - I have a bit of a soft spot for old dear widdecombe if the truth be told.

I would cover a poll of the sexiest male poltician too, probably.

Keep reading darling x

I was merely pointing out that in general, it is womens' looks which are assessed and scrutinised by the media and I think it's worrying that this is increasingly happening to women in politics. I just think it's a shame we live in a society that focuses on looks over the actual person.
Also, I would dispute your point that male politicians are unattractive. I can think of quite a few Westminster hotties!

p.s. I think you and Ann would make a gorgeous couple.

TB! You didn't spot that Caroline Flint was on the list (which can be found via the ASI blog here: https://listas.20minutos.es/?do=show&id=66425).

She's at number 45 (just behind Clinton at 44 lol)

It is indeed pretty sexist. And besides, where are our Lib Dems? One look and it all gets much better.
