Wait...Gordon Brown was on QT?

I'm sure the only difference between Brown and Griffin is the policies and morals (Gordon Brown has some).

Their mannerisms and how they act under pressure are almost identical.

That's unhelpful TB. Likening political foes to political lowlife is exactly why Labour has so much difficulty dealing with the BNP - it's hard to dismiss a racist party as fringe extremists when you've just spent the last general election telling everyone who'll listen that the mainstream opposition is exactly the same. Bracketing the BNP in the same category as mainstream politicians, even in a derogatory way, is giving them exactly what they want.

The 2 aren't really comparable, of course, but at the last general election Labour and the Lib Dems were more than happy to cast such aspersions Michael Howard's way for his stance on immigration, yet after the election his Toynbee-baiting talk of limiting immigration was soon to become a part of the Labour lexicon.

I wonder if Polly would have advised the Guardianistas to "hold their noses" if she'd known the phrase "British jobs for British workers" would issue forth from Gordon's slack-jaw?
