Likening political foes to political lowlife is exactly why Labour has so much difficulty dealing with the BNP - it&#39;s hard to dismiss a racist party as fringe extremists when you&#39;ve just spent the last general election telling everyone who&#39;ll listen that the mainstream opposition is exactly the same.
