TB isn't one to blow his own whistle, but, he has enjoyed blowing the doors off Liberal Youth. He began his campaign against them during their election last March and became the must stop shop for all their campaign gossip. The Liberal Youth forums described the coverage as a "mixture of gonzo and News of the World sensationalism" that was "popcorn worthy" - TB couldn't have put it better. There was spin and briefing, lies and counter briefs - all recorded in painful detail by Tory Bear:.

and it was truly sandals at dawn. And suddenly it was all over. Bagshaw had gambled on playing dirty to survive and she pulled it off. TB knew there was more fun to come.It didn't take long for the honeymoon period to disappear. Elaine's opponent splashed her side of the story. And who will ever know what really happened at the training weekend? A message to those Lib Dems in despair:

TB did a fantastic job of keeping on top of all this and reporting it.
Liberal Youth eventually banned TB from using there forum as too many people were finding out more then the leadership of Liberal Youth were happy with. When this didn't work they pulled there own forums down completely to try and silence these stories TB has recaped for us here.

Dear TB. Fatal mistake. Poisonous lefty personalities have a habit of bouncing back - like cockroaches, they are easy to remove, but hard to kill off.
John Prescott, Mao Tse Livingstone, the Welsh Windbag, Gentleman Jack Straw, have all reinvented themselves and risen to prominence instead of living in well-deserved obscurity. Don't destroy the evidence, Keep three copies in different places. Elaine will be back.

With respect, balls. TB was banned for link spamming, which is against the terms of usage, but probably worked well for him at the time tbf. No hard feelings, but it was getting dull. It's not like LY members don't read blogs as it is anyway.
The forums coming down had less to do with TB than the people who did it. Christ, you should have seen the issues we had with them in 2004/2005.

I see that at 3:05am on 14 Jan, a 'tired and emotional' Bagshaw was still twittering about the coup:

Could I suggest she starts writing out a suicide note? It might let some of the victims of her bullying finally find some peace.
But nah, if I know her, she'll have already started filling out PPC forms. Maybe she hopes to lead a 'movement' somewhere else...
