If Boris wants to beocme an MP again, surly Henley is his best bet, John Howell is prob only going to do this term plus two more which will take us up to c2018 and Boris will finsih as Mayor in 2016.

Playing Devil's advocate, how about a simpler reason. DC is at heart, agist. He doesn't want cynical, awkward, old fogies, he want young, enthusiastic and clueless PPC's who he can dominate. Hence, no room for Dad but he'll give junior a go.
