Please let it be the last word. As an American who grew up in that era, I was listening to Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, etc. Needless to say rock. Walking around the office today I have actually heard people say &#39;it&#39;s too early for jokes&#39;, &#39;that was the music of my childhood&#39;, or &#39;you have to respect the music&#39;. No I don&#39;t. It wasn&#39;t that good in 1982 and it&#39;s not any better 37 years later.
